Ernst Rolf was Sweden's leading revue director, composer, actor, and singer in the 1910s and 1920s. Born as Ernst Ragnar Johansson in the town Falun on January 20, 1891, died by pneumonia on December 25, 1932 after attempted suicide by drowning. A discography by Karleric Liliedahl and Björn Englund was published in 1991 by the Swedish National Archive of Recorded Sound and Moving Images, ISSN 0348-8624, item 6.
