From 2007 to 2013, he was playing trumpet in Banda el Recodo de Don Cruz Lizárraga
David Castro is a long time friend of musicians that work in Banda MS, and of Edén Muñoz and sometimes performed as accordionist with Calibre 50 when Edén Muñoz couldn't perform playing the instrument displacement of the cervical vertebrae and could just sing safely.
When Calibre 50 was seeking to replace Edén Muñoz, he participated in the casting and was acclaimed by the fans of the band, but he has done it just for fun and clarified soon that he didn't intend to leave Banda MS.
