First being a free jazz drummer, Mr Jackson played with the whole who's who of the 60's - Albert Ayler, Charles Mingus, Ornette Coleman, Cecil Taylor, Jackie McLean...
He eventually moved to his own stuff, Decoding Society, mixing together funk and free jazz influences.
