I Solisti di Zagreb (an Alfred Scholz pseudonym, not to be confused with the real Zagrebački solisti)

"I Solisti di Zagreb" was formerly used as a name for the genuine orchestra Zagrebački solisti" (the Zagreb soloists). Unfortunately, the fraudster Alfred Scholz falsely used this name for recordings in the 1970s by anonymous orchestras that he sold to budget labels. These releases contained not only fake or falsely attributed orchestras but fake conductors eg. Alberto Lizzio, and also falsely attributed "real" conductors who never actually recorded the pieces eg. Anton Nanut. These have been widely released on "budget" labels like Pilz, Onyx, Allegro etc.

Please only use "I Solisti di Zagreb" for those questionable recordings.
