Annotation

Heikki Annala was a Finnish (jazz) bass player, composer and arranger. He collaborated, among others, with Lasse Mårtenson and Herbert Katz.

During the 1970's and 1980's Annala worked on several finnhit albums, composing hits for performers such as Matti Esko and Jamppa Tuominen. Probably the best known composition by Annala was recorded by Ahti Lampi in 1980; "Elämän valttikortit" from is a perfect example of the pathetic nature of Finnish light music at that time.
