JetTricks (sometimes written as two words: Jet Tricks, or as one: Jettricks - please refer to both jettricks.co.uk and the BBC website for variations) are a music production & song-writing duo from London, UK that consist's of Paul Elliott & Jamie Lawrence. Paul Elliott is a former club DJ and Jamie Lawrence is primarily a Bass player touring with bands including Lord Large (Acid Jazz) and Quantic Soul Orchestra (Tru Thoughts) Currently JetTricks are signed to independent funk, soul and electro acoustic record label Legere Recordings, based in Hamburg Germany and released their third album 'Better Than Real Life' in October 2012. The pair first got together and started writing and recording in 2007 creating a track with spoken word artist Adefunke called 'Love Hangover'. This was promptly licensed to German chill out record label Lemongrass Music and used for compilations. JetTricks then produced their first full length album 'Remote Control' (Cat no. LEGO 010) and 12" EP (LEGO 011) featuring Adefunke and signed to Legere Recordings. Tracks including 'Love Hangover', 'Free' and 'Lose You' were then licensed to countless worldwide compilation albums including releases on Sony BMG, Ministry Of Sound and a notable compilation 'Norman Jay's Good Times London' in 2008. JetTricks then released their second album 'All One Word' (LEGO 024) in 2010 and featured guest vocalists including Faye Houston (Resonators), Andrea Britton (Lord Large, Liquid Nation) and Stephen Large on Keyboards and Daniel Smith guitarist from the Noisettes. The album was remixed and released as 'All One Word The Remixes' (LEGO 025) and featured remixes by Shawn Lee, Boca 45, Jon Kennedy. The lead single from 'All One Word' featuring Marcus Malone on vocals 'Daddy Loves A Dancer' was picked up by BBC Radio Djs including Don Letts, Lauren Laverne and Huey Morgan who interviewed JetTricks for his BBC 6 Music show. Among other writing credits and releases JetTricks newest album 'Better Than Real Life' (LEGO 046) features collaborations with Huey Morgan, front man from the band The Fun Lovin' Criminals & Shawn Lee. JetTricks have a double A side 7" single released in October featuring the tracks Stephanie & See Us Through. JetTricks material is Published with Big World Publishing.
