"The label was launched by Miller International Company to release new recordings, but also used the repertoire of the bankrupt Essex Records.
The releases are in mono, while there was the sister label Stereo-Fidelity for the stereo versions. {...} When David L. Miller focused the European market, he sold the back catalog to Al Sherman's Budget Sound, Inc. in Sept. 1965. The brand was used further on, but most of the repertoire was release with the Alshire or A/S Records logo then {...} Miller used the label in Europe for his then new company Miller International Schallplatten GmbH, while Alshire used the label in the USA. Currently, label rights in Europe are owned by Sony Music Entertainment Germany GmbH. "
