On Stage (1990s Italian bootleg label – cat. no. CD 120../MC 120..)
~ Label
Annotation
On Stage
is an italian Bootleg Label.
The releases originally had been legal, because of a different law situation and became illegal after european laws had been changed.
The Label has released 88 different live Albums on CD and MC with the same catalogue number following the Art of Media during the period of 1991 to 1994.
So, the catalogue numbers begin...
CD 120..
MC 120..
Mother Label and Distributor : SAAR srl
Production : Sarabandas srl
They have Imprint : Made in EEC
It seems, that the Italian releases were also exported to:
- Germany
- Great Britain
I don't believe the export to the USA!
It would need to have more proof than one added data, wich seems to be Fake.
There is also a Version of The Who and Jimi Hendrix and Woodstock with a japanese Obi existing.
This seems to be produced for the Japanese Market, but it isn't known, if it really has been exported to Japan.
Help to find out the Year of Release or later Reissues :
The Key is the Booklet itself in combination with the catalogue numbers.
CD 12001 - CD 12030 -> 1991+1992 = catalogue numbers until CD 12030 are reflected in the Booklet
(see also at Year of Production / Distribution at the Back)
CD 12001 - CD 12030 -> 1993 Reissues = catalogue numbers until CD 12060 are reflected in the Booklet

CD 12031 - CD 12060 -> 1994 Reissues = catalogue numbers until CD 12088 are reflected in the Booklet

Different Covers than printed in Booklet
Some Reissues were made with a different Cover than it's original Release
.
This happened for example to Queen and Janis Joplin.
There should be existing 3 versions of Joe Cocker with different Covers.
Curiously the Queen alternate Cover has the printed old Cover in the booklet!
The alternate was probably released later in the Year of 1992, because the booklet wasn't expanded.
Matrix / Runout
The first prints of 1991 didn't have the Imprint :
MANUFACTURED IN ITALY BY OPTI.ME.S.
Later pressings beginning in 1992 have the Print above.
The Last Letter seems to be an indicator of the pressing run.
Following Variants appeared so far:
9919501..... ....-A
9919501..... ....-A#
9919501..... ....-B
9919501..... ....-B#
I expect them to be used in the same order as above.
Japan
Some of the releases were exported to Japan.
Those releases got a japanese Obi and a new japanese Catalogue Number:
