Fuji Media Holdings, Inc. was established following the adoption of a certified broadcast holding company structure on October 1, 2008. Fuji Television Network, Inc. changed its corporate name to Fuji Media Holdings, and transferred its business operations to a newly established company also called Fuji Television Network, Inc.
