Influential UK independent set up by former Creation Records press officer Jeff Barratt in 1990. Some of the first Saint Etienne releases were indeed distributed by Creation, before a deal in 1992 with BMG. A new distribution deal with EMI began in 2000.
Heavenly was the first label to release music by Saint Etienne, Beth Orton and the Manic Street Preachers.
