RCA Novus is one of the worlds leading Record Labels in the Contemporary Jazz / NAC / New Adult Contemporary format. Headed by the now famous & highly respected Series Director Steve Backer, the founder of the Novus RCA subsidiary, Steve Backer has managed to produce many adventurous jazz dates during periods when avant-garde jazz was in danger of disappearing from American labels.
