depending on its time span, the parent of Warner Special Marketing GmbH could either have been Warner Music Group Germany GmbH & Co. Holding OHG (extant up till 2003-06-04) or Warner Music Group Germany Holding GmbH (since 2003-06-04).
but since Warner Music Group Germany GmbH & Co. Holding OHG was still shown to be the parent of Warner Strategic Marketing in some releases (e.g.)—and as Warner Strategic Marketing was the new name of the former Warner Special Marketing—it means that as its parent, Warner Special Marketing GmbH had no longer existed by the time Warner Music Group Germany Holding GmbH came into being, so there is no relationship between the two.
