I have to admit, giving a Disney movie which has Lindsay Lohan as a lead a 4/5 still surprises me, but this soundtrack freaking vibes with me man. As someone who laps up all that emo-pop-punk-style stuff that came out in the early 2000s this soundtrack is just oozing with goodness. Don't worry, there's plenty more soundtracks for films that could be considered "clearance DVD bucket fodder" that also fit this criteria (John Tucker Must Die being one of them). I really have to admit if you think your musical tastes align with mine in this respect, do yourself a favour and listen to this soundtrack aaand watch the film while you're at it - relive a bit of that childhood/teenage-dom!
Rock on, in a Disney-safe kinda way.
