This new album by Selena Gomez is a very different sound for her. Compared to her previous albums, its a much more mature tone. There is definitely a good variety to the songs. With tracks that are upbeat and fun but also songs that are slow and really beautiful. The general genre of the album of pop, but there are also hints of indie in tracks like 'good for you'. My favourite songs of the album are 'Hands to Myself. and 'Same Old Love'. I just really love the rhythm to these 2 songs and they are so catchy.

This album is definitely a great listen no matter what emotion you are feeling. When you are upset, it can cheer you up. However, it can also make you dance if you are happy, so its something I reach for whenever.

She has also collaborated with many artists on this album such as ASAP Rocky in 'good for you' and many more.

Selena is also going to have a Revival tour in 2016. I think this album is really inspirational and it just reminds us that we should be the most true versions of ourselves that we can be. "Returning to a basis" in my opinion is a statement which basically sums up this album which i definitely recommend. This newly empowered pop artist is growing into her strengths like never before.

This is a new beginning for the artist and I look forward to see what she will bring in 2016.
