The first album from the Indian metal band Bloodywood, I've been expecting it for some time ! The band is pretty incredible and wholesome, and that is very apparent in the themes and lyrics of this album. Some songs are full of acerbic political commentary, others urging for respecting women, others still are about fighting depression and inner demons.
The mix of metal, traditional indian instruments (flute, dhol…) and nu-metal is an unexpected one, but that works extremely well.
A very promising first full lenght album, looking forward to the continuation !
