Youthful, motown-inspired, innocent.

Baby, the Stars Shine Bright is a sequence of masterfully performed ballads that keep throwing enough surprises to never be boring, with witty lyricism to back impeccable soulful orchestral arrangements.

Although some cracks show in the production and the vocals fail to deliver the spectacular heights some moments might imply, that same lack of range and power deliver something different, a raw and youthful appeal.

The lyrics very seldom rely on clichés or common phrases to build a story or a good throughline and paint the whole range of emotions of cheer, regret, anxieties, etc. that come from first discovering and navigating the complex world of adult life.

There are no big twists or departures from the same overall soundscape, only a single uninterrupted string of deeply pop, focused and truly enjoyable ballads.
