Opening with a decent instrumental, this debut album by the band is filled with lots of covers ( like I'm So Glad or Help ), however the band has tried to tweak the sound in some cases ( especially the Beatles' song). The two standout songs though remain Hush (which charted as well back in the day) and Mandrake Root. The sound seems muddy sometimes on this recording (of the instruments), especially when compared to their later greater releases, but it's a competent debut by this hard rock band.
