Polydor Island Group (not for release label use; label group 2003–2004; revived as Polydor/Island in 2013)

No releases should use this as a release label, certainly no releases, or any relationships either before or after the 2003/01–2004 window when this label group briefly existed.

This was a label group, the European companion to Polydor UK, based in Germany. In 2004, Universal Music GmbH consolidated its two label groups, Polydor Island and Motor Urban Def Jam, and restructured them to form Universal Music Domestic Division and Universal Music International Division.
