One of the jazziest release in the serie of Fitzgerald's stellar songbooks.
Release Notes:
This is a late reissue, culled from the (late as well) 2 discs set.
It contains one alternate take (#4) that was not in the original release, and which is found at the end of disc 2 of the two discs edition.
The initial releases of this were:
- MGV 4046-2 a 24 tracks double 12" LP set
- V/V6 4057 12" LP (Volume 1) (probably matching this less #4)
- V/V6 4058 12" LP (Volume 2)
All around 1961.
