Death Magnetic (bootleg rip of the Guitar Hero III DLC package)

~ Release by Metallica (see all versions of this release, 33 available)

Annotation

A bootlegged rip of the Death Magnetic DLC package for Guitar Hero III. This version has significantly less distortion and clipping since the Guitar Hero III package was sourced from an un-mixed version of the album. The distortion/clipping problems on the retail album are assumed to have been introduced after it was delivered for GHIII and before the album was mastered by Ted Jensen.

There are two different versions of the instrumental track "Suicide & Redemption" in the Guitar Hero package - both of which are different to the album version. The two versions here feature different guitar solos by James Hetfield and Kirk Hammet.
