Javert’s Suicide (Valjean, Javert)

~ Song

Annotation

There are two parts to this: the first is the encounter between Valjean (carrying the unconscious Marius) and Javert in the sewers; and the second immediately following that is Javert's soliloquy, before he jumps into the waters to his death. Most edited cast recordings omit the first half and include just the soliloquy.
